Guidance and Counseling Department
The Lake Park High School Counseling Department works as a team to offer information and advisement that enable students to choose and implement the most positive, appropriate and productive comprehensive education plan. Collaborating with nurses, psychologists, social workers, deans, other support staff, along with parents and community, the Lake Park Counseling Department functions as an integral part of the student’s educational program.
Important Upcoming Events
College 101 Night
The Counseling Department will be hosting a College 101 Night for our Sophomore and Junior families on April 11 th at 7:00 p.m. in the West Campus Auditorium.
The program will host a college panel of admissions reps from Northwestern, Loyola, DePaul, Elmhurst, Northern Illinois University, and University of Missouri to discuss the admission process
Breakout sessions will follow on highly selective schools, College of DuPage, Illinois State Schools, and admissions to performing art schools.

Addison Trail College Fair
Addison Trail High School will be hosting a college fair on April 17, from 6-8:30PM.
Location information: Addison Trail High School is located at 213 N. Lombard Road. They are on the Northeast corner of Lombard Road, 2 blocks east of 355. The main parking lot is just North of the school. *They will be having the College Fair in the Commons Area. Please enter at Door #1. Once you have entered the school, there will be signs directing you to the Commons.
