Committee Purpose, Vision & Goals



PURPOSE: The NWACC Technology Articulation Committee exists to provide leadership, improve communication, and promote the equitable use of technology in our K-12 school community.
VISION: To promote and integrate the use of technology as a tool for life-long learning and productivity.
GOALS: To provide guidance, share expertise, coordinate activities, explore grants, and strengthen communication with our K-12 community by:


  




  1. Articulating on hardware, software, and technology instruction issues.
  2. Identifying models for a systematic program to integrate technology into the classroom.
  3. Researching the factors that have proven to be successful in the integration of technology into the curriculum.
  4. Making staff aware of technology standards and their application in the classroom.
  5. Reviewing and updating hardware, software, and instructional standards.
  6. Maintaining information on the Lake Park website.
