Little Lancer Preschool will be offered in the fall and spring semesters.
Enrollment is now open to the public for the upcoming sessions. Sessions are filled on a first-come, first served basis while striving for an even boy-girl ratio. Lancer Preschool is designed for children ages 3 and 4 who are toilet trained and ready to experience a supportive and enriching preschool environment. The young students work very closely with their high school "teachers" and develop one-on-one relationships with them. The high school teachers are students who are potentially interested in careers related to child development and have each completed the Child Development course prerequisite. Teachers prepare daily lesson plans that not only provide opportunities for the Little Lancers to develop socially, but also to enhance their kindergarten readiness skills. The Lancer Preschool program offers a truly excellent experience for both our big and small students.
Enrollment is limited. We have an open admissions policy and accept students of all backgrounds; however, the Lake Park High School staff reserves the right to determine if our program is an appropriate placement for each preschool student. Currently, we are not enrolling students to do both semesters consecutively. If you are interested in a full-year option, you may register for fall, and if space is available in the spring, we may be able to accommodate that request.
Class time will be approximately 2 hours, and tuition will be $150 per semester. We will
continue to meet three days a week in the West Campus preschool lab. Starting and ending times
will be announced in the near future.
